From 1 January 2008 onwards the Ph.D. program of the Graduate School of Social Science (GSSS) will run under the umbrella of the Bremen International Graduate School of Social Sciences (BIGSSS), a joint program of the Social Sciences at the University of Bremen and at Jacobs University Bremen.
